About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Quick Drywall Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced tradespeople in various aspects of construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling earth, and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Tool Operation: Operate various tools and equipment, such as mixers, pumps, and power tools, under the supervision of experienced tradespeople.
  • Assistance with Tasks: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, building roofs, and other construction tasks as required.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and develop skills is essential.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off as per company policies.
