We are seeking a skilled and experienced Home Building Contractor to join our team at NBS Steel Framing & Drywall Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan and manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Quality Control: Inspect subcontractors' work to ensure quality and conformity with plans and specifications.
  • Trade Work: Perform various trade work during home construction or renovation activities.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to achieve project goals.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement business plans, financial and operating plans to drive company growth.
  • Customer Service: Work with customers, architects, and engineers to ensure plans and specifications meet their needs.
  • Supply Chain Management: Prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that construction permits are obtained and all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Operational Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in home building or construction.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
