About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpentry Supervisor to join our team at Skookum Scaffolding Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our carpentry projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of carpenters, apprentices, and trades helpers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work sites and completed projects to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members follow health and safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving skills.
