About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Boom Crane Operator to join our team at Foundation Building Materials. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating boom cranes to move materials and equipment on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Boom Cranes: Safely and efficiently operate boom cranes to move materials and equipment on our construction sites.
  • Conduct Pre-Operational Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections of boom cranes to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on boom cranes to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Rig and Hoist Equipment: Rig and hoist equipment safely and efficiently to ensure accurate placement and to prevent damage to equipment or surrounding structures.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient operations on our construction sites.
Requirements
  • Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certification: Possess a valid Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certification.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a physically demanding environment and be able to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and materials.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and to ensure safe and efficient operations.
