About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Nov 8 Sushi Galore. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management
    • Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to boost profitability.
    • Develop and manage budgets to determine costs of food, ingredients, and supplies.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
    • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with budgetary goals.
    • Monitor revenues and labor costs to ensure optimal profitability.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
    • Set staff work schedules and monitor performance to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to increase customer awareness and drive sales.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
