About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at End of The Roll Thunder Bay. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive high-quality flooring installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered, measure and mark them as needed, and prepare them for installation.
  • Install Resilient Flooring: Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, including vinyl or resilient tiles and sheets.
  • Install Hardwood Flooring: Prepare and install hardwood floors, including measuring, cutting, and fitting the flooring.
  • Inspect and Repair Flooring: Inspect installed flooring for damage and repair it as needed.
  • Remove Existing Flooring: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to prepare surfaces for new installations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Tools and Equipment: Own steel-toed safety boots and tools.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized and a team player.
