Position Overview

As a Carpet Installer at QC Quality Carpet Inc, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flooring solutions to our clients. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet our rigorous standards of excellence.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
Work Environment

You will work in various locations, adapting to different settings and client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
  • Measure, cut, and secure underlay and underpadding.
  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors.
  • Prepare and install hardwood flooring.
  • Inspect and repair any damaged floor coverings.
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants as necessary.
  • Employ specialized tools to stretch carpeting effectively.
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations.
  • Install resilient stair components, including special effects for the visually impaired.
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for maintenance and repairs.
Transportation Requirements

A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Physical Demands

This role requires bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of the installation process.
