Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpet Installation Specialist to join our team at QC Quality Carpet Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of carpet installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with carpet, ensuring accurate measurements and precise markings.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors and other surfaces.
  • Installation and Repair: Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces, employ knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting, and perform direct glue-down carpet installations.
  • Specialized Tasks: Install resilient stair components, including special effects for the visually impaired, and estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including residential and commercial settings.
  • Transportation and Travel: Valid driver's license required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
