We are seeking a Director of Business Development for IoT-Software to join our team at Amotus, our division dedicated to IoT engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing bold strategies to expand our market presence and strengthen our position as a leader in the IoT industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively promote Amotus services and technology solutions to customers.
- Participate in business development activities, such as conventions and conferences.
- Manage sales activities within your territory, including customer presentations and other sales-related tasks.
- Develop and maintain good business relationships at various customer levels.
- Collaborate with management to develop the commercial strategy for sales projects and company positioning.
- Coordinate with internal sales to prepare preliminary and final bids, as well as for specific projects to promote the sale of Amotus solutions.
- Actively track bids to ensure maximum potential for bid-to-order conversion.
- Update the sales database and prepare forecasts, while keeping an eye on projects and key accounts.
- Monitor market technology to identify business opportunities for Amotus.
Requirements:
- Perfect comprehension and communication skills in English, as you will be in direct contact with American and international customers.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or sales or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years' experience in technology and business development.
- A self-starter with a constant desire to learn.
- Able to travel occasionally for business events and business trips.
- Fully remote work possible.
- Knowledge of technological solutions in IoT, wireless, cloud computing, embedded systems, Linux, electronic design, and "firmware" for connected systems.
- Knowledge of sales in commercial and industrial environments.
- Knowledge of technology companies.
- Knowledge of tendering processes.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite.
