Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Business Analyst - Banking

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing business needs and developing solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Analyze complex business problems and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for business improvement.
Requirements:
  • 7-10+ years of experience working in a senior role in the banking industry, with a strong background in business analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis software and tools.
  • Excellent documentation and testing skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Project management skills to handle diverse projects and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Ability to solve technical problems and understand complex details.
  • High level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as mathematics, data analysis, or computer science.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Regulatory capital experience.
  • Power BI experience.
  • SQL experience.
  • Experience with BASEL.
  • Experience with AXIOM.
  • Experience with OSFI.
  • MBA or other related advanced degree.
