Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Rodan Energy Solutions. This role is crucial in supporting our Finance Digital Initiatives team as we prepare for an upcoming SAP upgrade and replacement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Map current finance business processes and their interfaces using process flow diagrams.
  • Identify inefficiencies and challenges within existing processes, proposing actionable improvements.
  • Create updated process flow diagrams to reflect new or revised workflows.
  • Translate future state process diagrams and business requirements into user stories within Azure DevOps.
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with subject matter experts and process owners to develop user stories that lead to testable outcomes at the conclusion of each Agile sprint.
  • Draft governing documents and job aids that accurately represent the new or revised business processes.
  • Assist the Finance Digital Initiatives team in establishing a standardized framework for documenting and maintaining business process information, while also leading training for permanent staff to cultivate internal Business Analyst capabilities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience as an Information Technology Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience in defining business processes to support software development and testing.
  • Technical expertise in estimating development efforts.
  • Familiarity with MS PowerBI, Azure DevOps, Databricks, and a basic understanding of Python.
  • Experience with System Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, Agile-Scrum methodologies, and principles of business process reengineering.
  • Proficient in SharePoint, SQL, and SAP.
