Job Summary

Mircom Group of Companies, a leading provider of intelligent building and life safety solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit job sites and review installation procedures and practices with contractors to ensure seamless integration of our products and services.
  • Develop sales opportunities with existing customers and identify new business prospects.
  • Cold call potential customers, including electrical contractors, consulting engineers, building owners, and property management companies, to present our products and services and solicit new business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or marketing.
  • Minimum 3+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in the fire alarm and security industry.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with fire alarm industry and/or technology, provincial fire code, and building codes is an asset.
