About the Role

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to join the SiGMA AI Model and Platform team at Microsoft as a Product Manager II. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in defining and delivering key deliverables for the DirectML team, which supports integrations with various hardware vendors and ML frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive product feature roadmaps to exceed the evolving demands of the AI and ML landscape on Windows and XBOX.
  • Work closely with engineers to define feature requirements, designs, and delivery targets in alignment with key internal stakeholders, external hardware vendors, ML frameworks, and customers onboarding to the DirectML platform.
  • Collaborate and drive alignment with a broad range of internal and external partners to bring end-to-end customer value to life.
  • Identify, elaborate, and prioritize strategic growth opportunities for the DirectML platform.
  • Contribute to a culture that fosters creativity, diversity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
  • 2+ years of technical proficiency and a demonstrated ability to go deep in technical areas as required.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of AI/ML.
  • Experience in the AI or machine learning industry.
  • An understanding of the Windows OS, DirectX, and Windows hardware ecosystem.
  • Proficient in written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience managing requirements and alignment across business and engineering teams.
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate solutions to complex technical problems.
