About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Production Systems Engineer II to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Event Productions team, you will be responsible for the health and success of all production equipment located within our venues, as well as operating and ensuring the success of each event that takes place within these spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Design, program, and operate live events with autonomy, taking customers' ideas and delivering outstanding products.
  • Proactively engage with production teams to pursue process improvements and contribute as a subject matter expert in the field of audio/visual production.
  • Ensure industry best practices are followed with a safety-first mindset and track and report on inventory statuses and needs.
  • Participate in post-event feedback discussions/surveys and report, track, and help solve any technical issues that arise during events.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in live event productions.
  • Ability to set up and operate digital audio, video, and lighting mixing consoles for live shows.
  • Proven experience with break/fix support for production equipment.
  • Ability to create and edit in Microsoft Office platforms (Word, Excel, PPT).
  • Familiarity with producer-led show calling and production-specific health and safety.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs and experience with inventory management.
  • Ability to set up basic IP-based networks that support audio-visual devices and protocols.
  • Familiarity with matrix-based signal routing systems and knowledge of Paradigm systems, Ross Video Systems, and Vectorworks or similar design software.
