Key Responsibilities:- Promote the GCS brand by delivering tailored claims services to Aviva's major commercial auto clients.
- Manage Commercial Auto Claims across Canada, excluding specific regions, focusing on various policy types.
- Ensure a top-tier claims experience by guiding clients through the claims process, clarifying coverage, and outlining necessary steps for resolution.
- Adhere to customer-specific service agreements and claims handling procedures.
- Set clear expectations for both internal and external stakeholders from the beginning.
- Contribute to effective Indemnity and Expense management by advocating for our Premiere vendor program.
- Resolve claims within authorized limits and collaborate with internal or external resources as needed.
- Maintain data integrity and reserves in line with company policies.
- Coordinate with external adjusting providers to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Stay informed about automobile insurance regulations and market trends with support from senior leadership.
- Work collaboratively to identify and enhance system conditions that affect customer service.
- Continuously seek improvements by eliminating inefficiencies.
- Communicate with confidence and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including Underwriting and Claims Service Managers.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support team and organizational objectives.
- Possession of or progress towards CIP or FCIP designation (C48 is advantageous).
- A degree or diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience in auto claims.
- A strong commitment to customer service and enhancing the customer experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in auto claims management.
- Preferred candidates will have commercial auto experience with a solid understanding of standard products and endorsements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that build trust and credibility.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with claims management software such as ClaimCenter and Mitchell.
- A proactive approach to team collaboration and constructive feedback.
- French language skills are a plus.
- Provincial Adjusting licenses in specific regions are beneficial.
