About the Role
As an Auto Claims Adjuster, you will play a crucial role in assessing and resolving claims related to auto bodily injury incidents. You'll be responsible for investigating the details of each claim, determining coverage, evaluating damages, and negotiating fair settlements with policyholders and claimants.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into auto bodily injury claims to establish liability, assess damages, and identify relevant coverage provisions.
- Manage a portfolio of claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution within established company guidelines and industry standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders and claimants, providing clear communication and updates throughout the claims process.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal counsel and underwriting teams, to ensure accurate claim handling and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize analytical skills to evaluate evidence, determine appropriate settlement amounts, and negotiate favorable outcomes for the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as insurance, business administration, or law.
- Strong understanding of auto insurance policies, coverage terms, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with computer applications and claim management systems.
