Auto Physical Damage Claims Adjuster

We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Physical Damage Claims Adjuster to join our team at The Travelers Companies, Inc. As an Auto Physical Damage Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating claims to determine coverage available to policyholders and claimants.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and evaluate claims to determine coverage available to policyholders and claimants
- Handle 1st and 3rd party Personal Insurance and Business Insurance APD claims
- Apply policy, legislation, and company guidelines to manage loss costs and customer relations
- Communicate with customers and other parties to resolve claims
- Document claims files in accordance with Best Practices
- Manage pending and settled claims within company averages
- University Degree/College Diploma or equivalent business experience
- Enrolment in the CIP program is an asset
- High proficiency with Windows-based programs, including spreadsheet and word-processing applications
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to understand and apply policies and procedures
- Proficiency in typing
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently
- Adjusters license as required, based on business needs
