About the Role

HF Sinclair is seeking a highly skilled Learning Analyst to join our team. As a Learning Analyst, you will be responsible for the effective administration, maintenance, development, coordination, and continuous improvement of processes and practices for Learning and Operational Excellence at our Mississauga Lubricants Facility.

You will support Mississauga Operations (Learning) and legacy PCLI (Document Control) by maintaining the TIPS database, performing key document tasks, and working on continuous improvement projects with the Manager, Learning and Operational Excellence.

The Learning Analyst will also be responsible for developing, evaluating, and maintaining curricula, maintaining relevant information in Training Matrices, and subject matter expertise in the Learning Management System.

Additionally, you will coordinate in-person training in collaboration with the Site Safety Trainer, validate pre-requisite training requirements, and drive continuous improvement in training delivery processes.

You will participate in and represent the Company's interests in all internal and external site audits, producing requested training program information and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of six (6) years of job-related experience and a strong understanding of business, health and safety, or a technical field.

The Learning Analyst must be able to demonstrate positive safety behaviors, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.

They must also have strong knowledge of Windows and the Microsoft Office suite of applications, be able to problem-solve daily, and exercise sound administrative judgment.

The Learning Analyst will work in a collaborative team-based environment, build strong relationships with diverse groups, and be able to work independently.

They must also have a track record of taking initiative and working towards continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the TIPS database and perform key document tasks
  • Develop, evaluate, and maintain curricula
  • Maintain relevant information in Training Matrices
  • Subject matter expertise in the Learning Management System
  • Coordinate in-person training in collaboration with the Site Safety Trainer
  • Validate pre-requisite training requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in training delivery processes

Requirements
