Position Overview
- Oversee production operations to ensure that both operational and financial objectives are achieved
- Guide team members in their personal growth and organizational duties
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for manufacturing projects and activities
- Ensure consistency in employee relations and compliance with company policies
- Coach Shift Production Supervisors to enhance their training and motivation
- Encourage employee feedback to improve performance and safety standards
- Implement strategies to achieve company objectives within budget and deadlines
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing methodologies
- Collaborate with various departments to meet operational targets
- Maintain a safe working environment with a focus on zero injuries
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certification in safety management and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with SAP/Oracle JDE is advantageous
Physical Requirements
This role may involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and requires good vision.
Work Environment
The work environment is moderately noisy, and some tasks may occur in operational units requiring personal protective equipment (PPE). Occasional travel may be necessary.
