Position Overview
Waterford Executive is seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor for a prominent manufacturing client. This role is pivotal in overseeing a team of hourly associates within a continental shift structure, ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, and production objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and optimize production resources, including machinery, personnel, and materials, to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements for production equipment, systems, and methodologies.
  • Immediately report any operational deficiencies to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Document and communicate any product discrepancies to management and quality assurance teams.
  • Adhere to established Quality Control standards and procedures.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving production efficiency.
  • Maintain effective communication with administrative and supervisory staff as necessary.
  • Supervise and guide all assigned hourly employees to promote safety, product quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Implement policies and collective agreements consistently and fairly.
  • Engage with hourly employees as needed.
  • Facilitate and participate in training sessions as required.
  • Comply with all divisional regulations and policies.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by management.
  • Assist in developing metrics to monitor progress and improvement initiatives, striving to meet established targets.
  • Encourage team involvement in ongoing improvement processes, including safety meetings and continuous improvement projects.
  • Lead by example in upholding the company's ethical standards and workplace policies.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Self-driven individual with strong organizational, time management, and analytical capabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Willingness to work a 12-hour continental shift schedule.
