Job Title: Administrative Assistant

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to support the INTREPID Lab, a research team focused on tobacco and vaping cessation, chronic disease prevention, and digital interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced administrative support to the Lead of the INTREPID Lab, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with confidential organizational and client-related projects, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to support research studies and projects.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty members, researchers, and external agencies.
  • Prepare and maintain statistical and financial records, reports, and grant applications.
  • Update academic documents, including CVs and Conflict of Interest forms, and ensure compliance with scientific appointment and promotions processes.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of senior-level administrative assistant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, superior interpersonal skills, and ability to demonstrate sound judgment, tact, and courtesy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Webex, and scheduling software.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
