Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at Newmarket Inn. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet guests and direct them to contacts or service areas, obtain and process information required to provide customer service, and record and relay information.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain work records and logs, perform clerical duties such as filing and sorting and distributing mail, and answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages.
  • Guest Services: Provide directory assistance, relay service to persons with disabilities, and perform data entry.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

As a Front Desk Associate at Newmarket Inn, you will work in a fast-paced hotel environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.
