Position Overview:

As a Branch Operations Administrator at ScotiaMcLeod, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our branch within Scotia Wealth Management. Our organization is dedicated to maintaining high standards of integrity and providing exceptional service, while offering trusted investment guidance. You will work closely with our advisors, who utilize innovative strategies to protect and grow clients' assets through a unique approach known as Enriched Thinking, which integrates insights from both clients and experts for superior results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a collaborative and positive workplace culture that encourages employee engagement and empowerment.
  • Efficiently manage all administrative functions related to branch operations.
  • Lead the recruitment, training, and oversight of support personnel.
  • Supervise transactional banking activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Deliver outstanding client service while ensuring compliance and profitability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in the securities sector is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams.
  • Completion of Investment Representative training through CIRO is required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional client service orientation and effective time management skills.
