REPORTING TO: Deputy Soft Service Manager

CONTRACT: Full time permanent

HOURS: 42 hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off Night and Days on Rotation

PAY RATE: £14.31 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

ABM is seeking a dedicated and diligent Supervisor to oversee our Cleaning and Security teams. This role entails the supervision of cleaning and security personnel, ensuring that operations are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for monitoring team performance, addressing any operational challenges as they arise, and providing guidance to your team during shifts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Overseeing a team of cleaning and security staff
  2. Ensuring operational tasks are completed to a high standard
  3. Managing administrative paperwork
  4. Maintaining communication with the Line Manager
  5. Conducting staff training and development
  6. Facilitating team briefings
  7. Accountability for team performance
  8. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  2. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  3. Strong prioritization skills and relationship-building capabilities
  4. Meticulous attention to detail
  5. Customer-centric mindset
  6. Proactive and positive approach to work
  7. Capability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  8. Ability to adhere to established processes and guidelines
  9. SIA DS licence is essential; CCTV certification is a plus
  10. Comprehensive five-year checkable employment/education history
  11. Experience in corporate or retail security is advantageous
