REPORTING TO: Deputy Soft Service Manager

CONTRACT: Full time permanent

HOURS: 42 hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off Night and Days on Rotation

PAY RATE: £14.31 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

ABM is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to fill the role of Cleaning and Security Operations Supervisor. This position entails overseeing the Cleaning and Security personnel, ensuring that operations are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will be tasked with supervising the team during shifts, addressing any immediate concerns that arise, and maintaining operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Overseeing a team of cleaning and security personnel
  2. Ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard through effective monitoring
  3. Managing documentation and reporting
  4. Maintaining communication with the Line Manager
  5. Providing training and guidance to staff
  6. Conducting team briefings to align on objectives
  7. Being accountable for team performance
  8. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
  2. Exceptional communication skills for both internal and external interactions
  3. Proficient in prioritizing tasks and fostering relationships
  4. Strong attention to detail
  5. Customer-centric mindset
  6. Proactive and positive approach to work
  7. Capability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  8. Adherence to established processes and instructions
  9. SIA DS licence is essential; CCTV knowledge is a plus
  10. Must have a comprehensive five-year checkable employment/education history
  11. Experience in corporate or retail security is advantageous
