About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cross Vertical Partnerships Manager to join our team at Lightspeed. As a key member of our partnerships team, you will be responsible for driving global and cross-product partnership opportunities, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner Management: Be the primary point of contact for cross-vertical partners who work with Lightspeed across multiple products and regions.
  • Strategic Alignment: Drive alignment on our priorities with key strategic partners like Apple, Google, and Uber that work with Lightspeed across multiple products, regions, and use cases.
  • Category Ownership: Own our key partner categories with a high degree of overlap across Lightspeed's product verticals like accounting, loyalty, and delivery.
  • Negotiations and Agreements: Work with internal and external commercial and legal teams on negotiations and agreements with cross-vertical partners.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Schedule regular touch points with key partners and ensure our cross-vertical partners can articulate Lightspeed's priorities and how they can help.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities to simplify and consolidate agreements entities, regions, and multiple products with cross-vertical partners.
  • Industry Insights: Leverage connections and relationships with key cross-vertical partners to identify industry trends and opportunities for Lightspeed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years working in partnerships in the point of sale, payments, or eCommerce space.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven results working across legal, product, and commercial teams.
  • Global SaaS Environment: Experience in a global SaaS environment, preference for fast-growth and global.
  • Leadership: Track record of being able to both set or shape strategy, as well as delivering executional plans that have measurable impact on the business.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Adaptability and Accountability: Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also able to collaborate cross-functionally with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
  • Integrity and Ethics: Unquestionable ethics, integrity and business judgment; you share our values, and work in accordance with those values.
