Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment and systems, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, including troubleshooting and fault-finding.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal production and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Electrical Engineering Technologist or equivalent qualification.
  • Industrial electrical certification (Red Seal) and experience with GE, DC Drives, GE PLC Systems, and Auto CAD.
  • Approximately five years of technical experience in a similar role.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
