About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Talent Coordinator to join our dynamic Talent team at Fasken. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating a wide range of activities related to Talent management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the HR database, validate and transmit relevant information to the payroll department within the required deadlines;
  • Produce reports, statistics, and letters, and collaborate on data analysis;
  • Coordinate various activities related to student recruitment, including events and sponsorships, and provide primary administrative support during the internship recruitment season and for the management of student and intern programs;
  • Collaborate with the Student Committee to plan recruitment, organize Committee meetings, administer the annual schedule of student and intern activities as well as recruitment activities;
  • Ensure planning and follow-up of certain projects;
  • Coordinate various programs and processes for the Talent team;
  • Manage the onboarding and integration process of students and interns;
  • Develop and maintain a filing system, collect, organize, and analyze information from various sources to meet team needs;
  • Create clear, attractive, and well-structured presentations and/or documents to support our various programs;
  • Contribute to process improvement projects using artificial intelligence and automation.

About You
  • You have a College Diploma in administrative techniques, human resources management, or other related field along with at least three (3) years of experience in a similar role. Experience in a professional services company is an asset;
  • You have a strong interest and proficiency in using computer tools. Knowledge of an HR information system, such as UKG Pro, is an asset;
  • You are proficient in French and English, both orally and in writing in order to communicate with colleagues and various stakeholders across Canada;
  • You have good creative abilities and are comfortable with tools like Canva;
  • You demonstrate professionalism, rigor, and discretion on a daily basis;
  • You have good judgment, analytical skills, and a desire to provide excellent customer service;
  • You have excellent planning and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously, and meet established deadlines;
  • You possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
