About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Café des Amis. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of service in our café.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food preparation and service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff members on their job duties, sanitation procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage, as well as prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required.
Work Environment

Our café is a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to work under pressure to meet customer demands.
