We are currently looking for a seasonal, full-time Asphalt Maintenance Specialist to join our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Raking asphalt to ensure proper drainage and maintain the visual quality of the asphalt surface.
  • Performing minor maintenance on trucks and equipment.
  • Addressing imperfections in the asphalt surface.
  • Conducting site clean-up activities.
  • Engaging in shoveling, raking, sweeping, and other labor-related tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Experience in grade checking is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction practices is beneficial.
  • Capability to operate additional paving equipment is a plus.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate sound judgment, prioritize safety, and communicate effectively within a team environment. This role is physically demanding, requiring activities such as crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling. Therefore, passing a pre-employment medical assessment is necessary. A proven history of adhering to safe work practices and completing field risk assessments is essential.
