As a Lead Business Insights Analyst, your main duty will be to oversee and guide the growth of our Business Intelligence Team. You will define the parameters of each initiative and ensure that all deliverables are met within the designated timelines. Additionally, you will manage daily operations, including the communication of market insights and industry trends to both internal and external stakeholders, while presenting findings to Customer and Client teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist internal Sales and external client teams with data-driven insights that support the achievement of overarching goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Offer guidance and recommendations on the effective utilization of both ad hoc and standardized consumer and shopper data.
  • Communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) and demonstrate adaptability at all organizational levels to ensure clear and concise messaging.
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with team members, internal partners, clients, and other stakeholders through excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, capable of independently managing multiple projects and completing tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address issues and develop processes that align with shared objectives.
  • Adapt to changes in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Coordinate with sales and Business Insights Analysts to ensure timely completion of all presentations to meet specific needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience; a Business Diploma or Degree is preferred, along with proven experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Certification from a recognized Business Analysis institution is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in category management and proficiency in utilizing various Point of Sale (POS) and data tools to analyze large datasets for actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to assimilate and interpret data from diverse sources into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • High proficiency in Nielsen Market Track, IRI, FCL, JDA (Blue Yonder), Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A commitment to problem-solving with a positive outlook.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong expertise in Nielsen Market Track, IRI, LDIA, FCL, JDA (Blue Yonder), Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines in a dynamic environment with a collaborative attitude.
  • Solid understanding of current Internet, Intranet, Extranet, and client-server architectures, including SharePoint.
  • Capability to build and maintain effective working relationships with business leadership and across various departments.
  • Ability to deliver presentations to senior and diverse audiences effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – essential for engaging with supplier partners and clients.
