The Service Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Ambulatory Units. This dynamic position requires a detail-oriented individual who can coordinate equipment procurement and supplies, working closely with Ambulatory managers, Regional Materials Management staff, Capital Development, BioMed, and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate equipment procurement and supplies
  • Maintain Ambulatory Units, including monthly safety inspections and WHIMIS inventory
  • Monitor and track inventory (par levels) on supply carts and all outside orders
  • Assist in the acquisition of supplies and equipment through various funding sources
Requirements
  • Grade 12 (academic level) Post-secondary healthcare diploma/certificate (preferred)
  • 5 years recent experience (within last 2 years) in a healthcare and/or hospital setting
  • Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Spreadsheets
  • Experience in supply chain management
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated multidisciplinary team work skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and organize work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning
