MONTHLY GIVING PROGRAM MANAGER

Role Overview:

Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried (35 hours per week)

Location: Hybrid work environment

Reporting to the Director of Mass Marketing, the Monthly Giving Program Manager will focus on attracting and engaging new monthly donors, guiding them through a meaningful experience with Hope and Healing International and the children we support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning – Assessing the current landscape of the monthly giving sector and evaluating Hope and Healing's existing monthly donor program to set achievable goals and develop actionable strategies.
  • Resource Organization – Coordinating departmental resources, including personnel and financial assets, to implement the annual and strategic plans established during the planning phase.
  • Team Management – Leading and mentoring team members to achieve the objectives of the monthly giving strategy while supporting their individual performance metrics and career aspirations.
  • Performance Monitoring – Evaluating actual outcomes against industry standards and strategic targets, making necessary adjustments as needed.

Specifically, the Monthly Giving Program Manager will:

  • Stay informed about effective practices and emerging trends in the monthly giving fundraising arena.
  • Develop and execute a long-term strategy for recruiting and retaining new monthly supporters to boost the number of active monthly donors.
  • Design and implement an inspiring journey for monthly supporters.
  • Analyze campaign performance and donation trends to enhance the donor experience and maximize revenue.
  • Establish tactics, identify key performance indicators, set realistic goals, and budget for monthly giving initiatives.
  • Determine financial requirements and create annual budgets for the monthly giving strategy.
  • Provide strategic guidance and constructive feedback to the Marketing Services team and external partners to effectively carry out the monthly giving strategy.
  • Undertake additional job-related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in marketing, communications, business development, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a management role within the nonprofit sector.
  • Proven experience in managing monthly giving acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Experience overseeing face-to-face fundraising initiatives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and networking abilities with a professional demeanor.
  • Strong analytical skills for forecasting revenue and retention metrics.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning capabilities.
  • Ability to identify and direct effective fundraising initiatives and materials.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with donor management software.
