We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of business projects that involve the implementation of technology. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful project delivery and will be responsible for managing programs and projects, managing change acceptance and transitioning, and ensuring a smooth transition to an operational state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage programs and projects, including launching and executing programs, monitoring and controlling program outcomes, managing program and project quality, and managing program and project risk.
  • Manage change acceptance and transitioning, including establishing implementation plans, planning business process, system, and data conversion, planning acceptance tests, promoting to production, and managing releases.
  • Ensure a smooth transition to an operational state, including conducting post-implementation reviews and lessons learned, measuring the success of the project, and communicating success and gaps to inform a cycle of continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, or information systems or technology.
  • Certification in PMP, and/or Agile/Scrum project management methodology required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience planning and leading business projects that involve the implementation of technology.
  • A demonstrable track record of successful project delivery as measured against clear success criteria.
  • Proficiency with several project management software applications used to create and manage project schedules and resources.

  • Able to persuade/influence stakeholders to drive optimization and standards.
  • Ability to translate technical information into simple, and non-technical speak for the wider stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous innovation and improvement.
What We Offer

This is a permanent role located in downtown Toronto with a salary of $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per annum.
