Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement diverse wellness initiatives to address the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of our Residents.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and strong relationships with Residents, their families, management, and fellow team members.
  • Plan, organize, and propose LivingWell programs, seminars, and guest speakers to the LivingWell Manager for inclusion in the monthly calendar.
  • Provide assistance and support to other department managers as needed, including special events and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with older adults in a hospitality or healthcare environment.
  • Certification from a recognized fitness organization, such as CanFit Pro.
  • Proficient in conducting exercise classes tailored for older adults.
  • Exhibit self-direction, accountability, effective problem-solving skills, and leadership capabilities.
