About the Role

Sym-Tech Dealer Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, OEM Program to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our relationship with a major Canadian Automotive OEM client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Oversight: Provide strategic leadership and oversight to our OEM program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and exceptional client service.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for our OEM client, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Program Governance: Develop and implement effective program governance, ensuring seamless operational execution and achievement of business objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, collaborating with internal and client teams to drive business results.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and successful outcomes.
  • Representation: Represent Sym-Tech Dealer Services at a senior level with OEM clients, dealers, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree and 5+ years of national automotive account management experience or comparable experience with an Automotive OEM, Automotive Captive, Automotive protection program (F&I) provider, or Automotive Financial Services provider.
  • Knowledge and Competencies: Strong understanding of OEM culture, processes, and dealer relationships; excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; effective project management skills; strong analytical skills; proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet; English fluency; and French an asset.
  • Personal Attributes: Thrives in a fast-paced environment; enjoys constructive debate; execution and performance-oriented; strong attention to detail; commitment to excellence; ability to work independently; and a take-ownership attitude with an inherent sense of urgency.
