Position Overview
The Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) operates under the general oversight of the Health Services Manager, embodying the Mission, Values, and Management Philosophy of the organization. This role entails delivering professional nursing services to patients, particularly those with intricate and unpredictable health conditions. Responsibilities encompass independent nursing care, administering prescribed medical treatments, leading within the healthcare team, and coordinating patient care and discharge processes.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of one (1) year of recent experience in acute Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Medical/Surgical, or Emergency Nursing is essential.
Educational Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing education program is mandatory.
Licensure and Certification
- Current registration with the relevant nursing regulatory body is required.
- Active involvement in professional nursing associations is preferred.
- Annual Basic Life Support (BLS) Level C certification is necessary.
- Successful completion of the Advanced Assessment Course is required when offered by the employer or as mutually agreed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Adherence to the scope of practice as outlined in the applicable health professions legislation.
- The employer may consider candidates who do not meet the above qualifications if there are no suitable applicants.

Additional Requirements
