About the Role
Under the authority of the Director of Public Health, the Strategic Communication Specialist will design and implement communication strategies and plans tailored to the needs of the organization's various audiences. This role will provide expert advice on communication matters, collaborate with various departments and stakeholders, and support the organization's messaging efforts.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, team-oriented, and autonomous, with excellent communication and creative skills. They will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing communication plans and strategies to meet the organization's needs
- Providing guidance on communication matters, including messaging, branding, and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement communication plans
- Creating and disseminating communication materials, including reports, brochures, and social media content
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of communication strategies and plans
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communication
Key Responsibilities
The Strategic Communication Specialist will be responsible for:
