About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at D.A.D.O. Custom Millwork Inc. as a Woodworking Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom wood products and furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
  • Finishing and Assembly: Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Repair and Restoration: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Manual Dexterity: The ability to work with hand tools and machinery is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail is required to ensure that all products are of the highest quality.
  • Weight Handling: The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is necessary.

  • Accurate and Efficient: The ability to work accurately and efficiently is essential.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work effectively with others is necessary.
