About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at D.A.D.O. Custom Millwork Inc. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wooden furniture and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and create custom wooden products.
  • Assembly and Finishing: Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, and apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
  • Physical Demands: Lift and move heavy objects, up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and efficient interpersonal skills.
