About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at D.A.D.O. Custom Millwork Inc. as a Woodworking Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom furniture and cabinetry for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and create custom designs and prototypes.
  • Woodworking and Finishing: Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, sand wooden surfaces, and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Skills: Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
