Business Analyst Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Collage HR. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the delivery of IT solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Gathering and Documenting Business Requirements: You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to gather and document business requirements, ensuring that deliverables meet the needs of our clients.
  2. Facilitating Requirements Gathering Sessions: You will facilitate up-front business requirements and system requirements gathering sessions, driving the system functional testing and user acceptance testing process.
  3. Managing the Project Life Cycle: You will manage the normalization period, defect management, and communication to the operational team, ensuring seamless project execution.
  4. Reviewing Development Deliverables: You will review key development and design deliverables, including interface specifications, integration requirements, data schemas, and design documentation.
  5. Contributing to Project Planning: You will contribute to project planning and administration, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  1. Business Analysis Experience: You should have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of work experience in a discipline such as Business Analysis, Senior Programmer/Designer, or Systems Analyst.
  2. Technical Skills: You should have knowledge of multi-tiered application development, infrastructure, and networking concepts and practices, as well as experience with data systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or others.
  3. Communication and Leadership Skills: You should have excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, as well as leadership experience defining requirements and solutions related to operational processes.
  4. Agile and Waterfall Methodology: You should have knowledge of the project life cycle and the Agile and/or Waterfall methodology.
