Job Title: Resident Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at AgeCare Cariboo Place. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as well as serving meal trays and snacks.
  • Support residents with mobility and transfer needs, including lifting, turning, and positioning.
  • Administer first aid and provide basic care in emergency situations.
  • Engage residents in activities and provide companionship to promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
