Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to accelerate our business growth. This is a performance/commission-based role that requires a demonstrated track record of success in full-cycle outbound sales roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct territory business development through cold calling, effective networking, and market research.
  • Conduct the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting and lead nurturing to after-sales support, maximizing revenue from repeat sales.
  • Meet weekly and monthly performance KPIs and reach quarterly sales targets.
  • Utilize Striven ERP to maintain accurate CRM records daily and perform all functions required to take a project from lead to completion.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team and leadership to address client needs and project requirements, prepare proposals and estimates, and initiate transactions.
  • Act as a client liaison and advocate to identify and resolve issues and ensure smooth communication between the client and team.
  • Actively pursue networking opportunities, including trade shows and other in-person events.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and sales goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop B2B accounts through a long sales cycle and cultivate productive relationships with multiple stakeholders within the account.
  • Full-cycle outbound sales experience, including prospecting, lead nurturing, discovery, consultative selling, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to diagnose client needs and persuasively communicate solutions.
  • Effective collaboration in a team environment and communicating ideas and problems clearly to the leadership and project teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Office 365 environment and software, prior experience and proficiency with CRMs.
  • Technical knowledge of automation systems, including programming controls, vision systems, barcode scanners, and smart sensors.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B outbound sales experience.
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Degree and/or experience in control systems or robotics and automation.
