Personal Insurance Team Leader

Position Overview:
The Manager of Personal Insurance Services will report directly to the Director of Personal Insurance. This role entails overseeing the development and support of a dedicated service team comprising front-line staff. The Manager will coordinate team activities to ensure that service standards and new business objectives are achieved, with a strong emphasis on client retention and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire, direct, and empower your team through effective communication, coaching, and professional development.
- Create a workplace culture that promotes both individual and collective success.
- Manage team workloads effectively, conducting regular quality reviews to ensure compliance with established service and quality benchmarks.
- Perform monthly statistical analyses and generate reports on critical performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities for employee development and provide additional training as necessary.
- Collaborate with fellow leaders to establish strategic initiatives and metrics that align with the broader corporate business strategy.
- Maintain essential relationships and work in partnership with representatives from various personal insurance markets.
- Regularly disseminate market insights, including industry trends and coverage developments, to your team and colleagues to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance sector.
- Possession of a RIBO license.
- CAIB or CIP designation (or progress towards such designation) is considered an asset.
- A results-oriented and collaborative mindset.
- Previous experience in management or leadership roles is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrating flexibility while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and adaptable to change.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
