Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireless Senior Field Operations Specialist to join our team at Freedom Mobile. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wireless network in Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform network maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Conduct site acceptance and testing for new or upgraded sites, including transport site acceptance and testing.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on access and transport nodes, including battery testing and site housekeeping.
  • Identify and resolve field service issues, including minor, major, and critical issues.
  • Manage field warehouse and warehousing, including RMA for faulty parts.
  • Participate in on-call scheduling and emergency staff augmentation.
Requirements
  • Knowledgeable in LTE and 5G network acceptance, testing, and maintenance.
  • Graduate of a recognized telecommunications institution as a Telecommunications Systems Technician, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with test equipment and tools, including BERT, spectrum analyzer, PIM tester, and fiber optic tools.
  • Valid driver's license.
