Position Overview

The Culinary Services Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service within our establishment. This position requires a combination of educational background and practical experience in the culinary field.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in food service management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently.
  • Order and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on their roles, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and present reports on operational performance.
  • Supervise the assembly of food trays to ensure accuracy and presentation.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of communication in this role is English.
