Job Summary

A Brief Overview

This role serves as the primary point of contact for the department. Responsibilities encompass managing information requests, drafting correspondence, coordinating meetings, and providing administrative support. The position also plays a key role in planning and executing various events, maintaining calendars for conference room and classroom bookings, and handling general accounting tasks.

Job Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the department, effectively managing information requests, drafting professional correspondence, and coordinating meetings to ensure smooth departmental operations.
  • Perform essential accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable management, invoice processing, requisition handling, reconciliations, expense tracking, and procurement card administration.
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of diverse events, ensuring successful execution. Maintain accurate calendars for conference room and classroom bookings to facilitate efficient scheduling.
  • Procure office supplies and equipment to maintain adequate inventory levels and support departmental needs.
  • Manage key system access assignments and ensure proper security protocols are followed.

Required Education

  • Two-Year Community College Diploma

Required Experience

  • More than 1 year and up to and including 2 years of experience.
Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.
