Duck Donuts is in search of a dynamic individual who possesses a cheerful, approachable demeanor along with exceptional interpersonal and leadership abilities. The Store Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of the store, ensuring adherence to standards related to customer service, food expenses, safety, sanitation, and product preparation and display.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantees that the store fulfills its mission of providing high-quality products and exceptional service in a clean and inviting environment.
  • Engages with customers, assesses store performance through guest feedback, and addresses customer care compliments and concerns. Recognizes that customer satisfaction is paramount and takes proactive steps to resolve issues.
  • Oversees the effective implementation of new product launches and marketing initiatives within the store.
  • Fosters team spirit and is responsible for the professional development and growth of all staff members.
  • Handles disciplinary measures and terminations of store personnel when necessary.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Labor Regulations.
  • Conducts weekly inventory assessments for food and supplies, manages vendor orders, and maintains service logs.
  • Performs daily cash management tasks, including cash reports and deposits.
  • Develops store action plans aimed at enhancing performance in identified areas of opportunity.
  • Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of management experience in a food service or retail setting, or a 2 or 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • The Store Manager position requires full-time availability, including holidays and overtime as necessary.
  • Compensation will be based on experience and availability.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in restaurant management, particularly in fast casual and franchising environments.
  • Proven success in selecting, coaching, and developing managerial staff.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • High-energy, results-oriented individual capable of managing and resolving multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
