Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the technical efforts of Project Analysts.
  • Lead assessments of water and wastewater capacity for development projects.
  • Manage municipal initiatives, including Environmental Assessment studies and Master Plans.
  • Distribute resources, approve project timelines, and work closely with Finance on invoicing and accounts receivable.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for private developers, municipal personnel, and other stakeholders.
  • Draft and evaluate technical reports and documentation.
  • Ensure the quality of technical and graphical outputs produced by Project Analysts.
  • Analyze flow and rainfall monitoring data along with hydraulic model outputs.
  • Coordinate efforts with other business units and assist in proposal creation.
  • Provide mentorship to intermediate and junior team members.
  • Develop engineering services, project scopes, and related budgets.
  • Execute project management tasks effectively.
  • Compile studies, reports, design documents, and specifications for stormwater, water, and wastewater projects.
  • Create hydraulic models for stormwater and wastewater systems, including calibration, capacity analysis, and flood assessments.
  • Conduct engineering analyses and calculations as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in stormwater, hydraulic, sanitary, and wastewater modeling.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification is required.
  • Expertise in project management, hydrology, hydraulics, and hydrodynamic modeling.
  • Familiarity with Inflow/Infiltration (I/I) reduction techniques and monitoring strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills in hydrology and hydraulic modeling, along with GIS proficiency.
  • Exceptional data analysis, business development, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to mentor junior staff and engage effectively with clients.
  • Extensive experience in documentation and reporting processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
